Pizzafest

Pizzacraft’s annual Pizzafest is an exciting event celebrating all things pizza! 2016 marked the third year for this popular northern California event. Attendees sampled hot, fresh slices from over 10 competing teams and voted for their favorite!

Who Does Pizzafest Benefit?

Pizzacraft is committed to supporting local organizations, and as a result all proceeds from admission and beer sales were donated to Building Opportunities for Self Sufficiency, which serves the homeless, poor, and disabled in the Bay Area. Donations from the 2016 event totaled over $13,000!. The previous year, Pizzafest raised over $8,000 for BOSS.

What do People Think of Pizzafest?

"This was our first Pizzafest. Next year we will get there before event time starts, everybody was friendly that represented the event. I brought my family and will make this a yearly family outing. I did buy an outdoor Pizzeria Pronto this year, we enjoy it greatly, (see ya commercial pizza parlors!!). The pizza competitors were very helpful in answering all my newbie pizza making questions, every question was answered with a smile. I think you guys have grown into a larger space if possible, thanks for a great day!"

Who's the Genius Behind Pizzafest?

The Companion GroupPizzafest is hosted by The Companion Group. As the manufacturer of Pizzacraft products, we were looking for ways to support the local community (and let's be real - excuses to eat more pizza), while giving local Pizzeria Pronto owners a way to show off their incredible recipes and skills. We're proud to say Pizzafest is on its third year, and our taste buds have never been more delighted.
